Message from the Chairman
UBILAND intellectual property office was established in April, 2002 and has now seen its 11th year. The name UBILAND is derived from the desire to contribute to the formation of a UBIquitous LAND from the viewpoint of IT intellectual property, one of the fields we specialize in.
Supported by many clients and workers in my own field and other businesses, we have been able to expand into other areas such as electrical machinery and electronics, information processing, communication, control. With respect to trademarks, we have gained precious experience thanks to our clients, and been able to meet client requests for brand strategies, including copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Moreover, from our belief that specialists such as patent attorneys and so on should essentially be a group of capable individuals, we are aiming to propose the optimal solution through a network of specialists in different businesses and of like mind with respect to client satisfaction. We believe that, although normally working separately or in small groups, when the necessity occurs, we will rapidly form a team and respond to clients’ requests.
The UBILAND group slogan "Design clients delighted" sums up our principle. If we cannot exceed clients’ expectations, they will not be delighted with our service. We intend to continue being a patent office where everyone feels free to come for consultations, here in the center of Tokyo, and to provide such services as clients say have delighted them, working together with a specialist group that shares the same values.
Hiroshi Hoshino
Chairman, Patent Attorney.
